This organic and sustainable process starts from the seed and ends at the harvest. We feel very grateful to collaborate with local small organic growers who know and love the land, and work with their hands rather than machines. We appreciate their invaluable contribution to the quality of our skincare formulas. And we are committed to paying it forward.

ONLY HIGH QUALITY ORGANIC BOTANICALS

You can’t create an effective skincare with old, poor quality plant material or plants which grow in a depleted soil. We source only exceptional quality, fresh organically grown or ethically wildcrafted plants for our formulas.

We devote a lot of time and energy to sourcing the best ingredients we can find for you. All of our oils, butters, essential oils and other ingredients are sourced locally (as much as possible) and globally from small organic producers.

NEVER RUSH THE PROCESS

As fresh plants arrive during the growing season, it is the most exciting and the busiest time of the year at Woman Divine. It takes lots of work to process plants in preparation for our formulating. First we look carefully at our freshly harvested plants. Only perfectly healthy plants are used. As fast as possible, we place them in our dehydrator. To preserve their nutrients and to capture as much of plant’s vibrancy as we can, we dehydrate very slowly, and at a very low heat. Some of the dry plants are set in oil as herbal extracts, and some are saved for later to be used in other forms.

Unlike the rushed product making practices of most companies, we use a very thorough three months process of herbal extracting using only high quality organic oils as mediums. It is a lengthy process that requires daily tending. Well worth it though as it allows us to capture every bit of medicine that plants offer. After three months of tender care our beautiful, colourful and highly nutritious herbal extracts are ready to be strained and then used in Woman Divine Skincare formulas.
