In everyone’s life there is a time when we need a little extra comfort and soothing. This was the spirit in which WD BODY BALM | rose + st. john’s wort (previously Botanical Salve) was formulated.

Smooth texture and lovely aroma of rose and beeswax are a perfect prelude to the healing properties of Rose and St. John’s Wort.

Rose holds a very special affinity for supporting the female body. It opens the heart and expands its energy. Rose works beautifully in soothing sore and tense muscles and helps with skin regeneration, inflammation, irritation, dryness and lack of tone. Its aroma is deeply balancing to our senses and connects us to the emotion of love.

Like Rose, St. John’s Wort is a plant with many virtues. It is said to protect our spirit from the negative outside forces. It’s a calming, tension relieving and nerve-pain soothing plant. It helps to heal bruises, sunburns and to release trapped heat from the tissues. Its energy is uplifting and illuminating.

Why to use it? You can apply WD BODY BALM | rose + st. john’s wort to help with muscle soreness and tension, to relieve radiating nerve pains anywhere in the body, to help alleviate a feeling of a heavy heart, to soften the skin or to soothe it after sun exposure. You can also use it after a bath or a shower to moisturize your skin.

A little tip from Magdalena: Try it as a treatment for mature skin on your neck. I find it works wonders!

Generally we recommend to use WD BODY BALM | rose + st. john’s wort whenever you feel a need for comfort and soothing.

Application: Warm a small amount of balm between the palms of your hands and apply to the area that needs it. Massage it in gently and enjoy the magic.
